We have waited and waited and waited and waited! I hope this is really going to happen on the anticipated date. The prices are a bit concerning to me, as I have never seen a CD at Best Buy priced north of $110, that I can recall. Therefore, I'm hoping for quite the nice deluxe package. As well, the Blu Ray is about $80, another high price point (maybe multiple discs?!). Best Buy doesn't usually list filler products that they aren't sure about. Anyway, my hopes are high!

A blu-ray of the video album maybe but a remaster of the audio album on July 1st? Gimme a break this is nonsense. The first remaster and the only one to have been announced so far is PR and it's in November.
There's no SOTT remaster on July 1st, this is a bait from bestbuy. Amazon does it sometimes: they announce a product that ain't in the works just to test how many people will be interested and try and preorder it (of course they don't charge them), it allows them to let labels, publishers and studios know that there is a demand for a particular product that's OOP or in need of being remastered or tradepaperbacked or whatever. Either that or a mistake but there won't be a SOTT remaster b4 2015 at the earliest. Edited 6/15/14 1:23am. BTW the real deal, when it happens, will probably be quite expensive. A true SOTT deluxe box-set would have 2 contain: The original album: 2 CD's. The b-sides, mixes and edits: 1 CD (haven't checked the length but 1 should be enough).
The original Crystal Ball as intended: 3 CD's The unreleased: 1 CD of additional unreleased material would be a very strict minimum. That's already 7 CD's and that's if u don't include any live material such as the audio for the film or any other SOTT show or aftershow. So maybe not worth 110 bucks yet but getting close. The release of an original Crystal Ball is the definition of unnecessary. If that were included in the deluxe, I'd definitely leave it in the store.
Best tagline for software company. There isn't enough unreleased material from the original Crystal Ball album to warrant duplicating the same songs (all of SOTT, minus 'U Got The Look') on another set of discs, of which three wouldn't even be necessary because Crystal Ball is slightly under two hours long. (2x80 minute discs = 160 minutes = 2 hours 40 minutes). Pre-emptive strike: and who cares about the segues between rebirth/play in the sunshine or the ball/joy in repetition? They truly aren't interesting enough to warrant another three cds of mostly the same material. This set on BestBuy.com (and Amazon ) looks like a deluxe package of the Japanese blu-ray rather than a deluxe version of the album.
Only for the prince fans that have nothing better to spend their money on. Edited 6/15/14 7:58am -Reply #14 posted 06/15/14 7:58am. 120 minutes of material (probably less), so that's barely 1.5 CD filled. Yes, I know 'historical context blah blah blah', but IMHO the only workable release would be a Blu-ray audio with various possible configurations, i.e.

2 asnwer comments above, SOTT as it is just doesn't fit on a single CD unless being edited, but I fail 2 c how an edit would do justice to the original album if it was to b remastered. As 4 CB yed of course it's a bit odd for it contains many tracks that's been released on SOTT and other albums/singles. Now we're talking over expensive deluxe box-set, not a casual release 4 causal listeners. I have the bootleg version of CB as intended, I find it to be a mind blowing collection/sequencing and it reflects 's original vision of the album. I'm sorry some people here wouldn't be interested, it'd be interesting 2 know if it's the majority (gonna create a yeah or nay thread 2 check this out), I can understand of course but I wouldn't mind spending a few additional dozen dollars for it (after all had it been released on bootleg back when those were sold, I'm quite sure most of would have bought it).

Out yesterday in Japan, is this “HD Remastered” special edition blu-ray of Prince’s Sign O’ The Times 1987 concert film. This is a Region A release (Americas, East Asia) and can be purchased as a standard blu-ray or as this deluxe version which comes with a booklet, postcards and an outer slipcase (optimistically referred to as a ‘box’). This comes with a 5.1 DTS HD audio mix as well as stereo LPCM.
Dota map v6.73. Dan selain itu tidak ada bonus di sungai.
Whether it’s any better in terms of sound/image than the is not really known, but the packaging and design of this new Japanese issue is certainly much better, and more in keeping with the original artwork. Sign O’ The Times HD Remastered Edition blu-ray is out now in Japan.
